The hotel sits high on a hill overlooking the lovely city, offering everything we needed with friendly staff and a pet-friendly policy. The rooms, while equipped with kitchen amenities and a large TV, felt outdated with dark furnishings. The location was great for us despite the smoke from nearby fires, but getting back to Hobart was a bit complicated.

I had a great stay at this motel. The room was warm and comfortable, very tidy, and had useful amenities. It's a nice quiet motel with lovely surrounds, close to the city and the local shopping center. The views were beautiful, and the bedding and towels were clean and supplied every week without fail. The owner was very helpful to us, but the room was not serviced each day. The room was large with two single beds at a rate of about AU $110, although I didn't use it even though I called the day before to cancel.

Despite being on the eastern shore, the motel's location is great, high on a hill overlooking the city, which was lovely. It was a bit hard to find, but luckily my husband saw the sign. It's close to the city center and on a public transport route.
